The last road trip that Allie and I went on was a 10 day adventure thru Utah… we saw so many unexpected things just from our car while traveling I was able to save so much of my energy for the stops in between. I know I have said it before but OUR COUNTRY is full of beautiful things and many of them are accessible if you know where to look and that is what I am here for, to find accessibility for all!!

MEMORIAL DAY? FOURTH OF JULY?

Every weekend & most holidays are exciting at the Accessibility Across America & Wheelin’ in the Wild excursion page to see what accessible beauty we have found next!!

My goal is to provide the most up to date travel information for people with limited mobility like myself. I love seeing new things but reality I use to opt to stay home rather than risk slowing my family down and becoming a burden, however if I had a cheat sheet such as this, things may have been different. The first little while my body can handle the slow hike but soon after i have to stretch, sit and take a breather or just wiggle a little until my body stops spazzing out on me. I use to hate acting like something was bothering me so they just blamed it on me being out of shape but I now know I have many medical issues that keep me from doing so many things that I truly love to do such as hiking waterfalls, climbing mountains, sledding down hills and just enjoying life with my children. I have always needed more breaks than most and now I can take them and help others know where they can take them too. Enjoy Life, take a break, and enjoy it some more!! We can’t all be full speed so be your speed and just go and enjoy your best life!!!
